Difficulties of the Trek

Dhaulagiri trekking is both technical and highly strenuous. Excellent physical condition is essential and mountaineering experience is preferable.

Following rough terrain, they involve steep ascents to high altitudes with the possibility of some rope climbing. Stamina is needed to complete one of these treks.

Days 3 : Trek to Darbang.
 
Days 4 : Trek to Takum.
 
Days 5 : Trek to Muri.
 
Days 6 : Trek to Boghara.
 
Days 7 : Trek to Doban.
 
Days 8 : Trek to Italian Base Camp.
 
Days 9 : Acclimatization day at Italian Base Camp.
 
Days 10 : Trek to Dhaulagiri Base Camp.
 
Days 11 : Trek to Hidden Valley (5000m.) crossing French Pass (5360m.).
