Poonhill Trek

You will see the village life. The Himalayan Range including Annapurna South 7219 m., Fishtail 6993m., Dhaulagiri 8168m., The jungle of Rhododendron is great to enjoy in its full blooming season March April. You can experience Snow and play with it in December January.

Detail Itinerary of Poonhill Trek

Days 1 : After breakfast in the hotel drive an hour to Nayapul and start walking (trek.) It will take some 4/5 hrs to reach Tikhedhunga 1577m.The trail slightly ascends this day following the river most of the time.
 
Days 2 : Trek to Ghorepani 2850m. This is little longer day and need to walk up for the first couple of hours steep. Banthanti is the place for the Lunch and then gradually up in the forest of the Rhododendron.
 
Days 3 : Early in the morning climb an hour to view the sunrise with the majestic mountains from Poon Hill 3210 m. from where you can enjoy the view of majestic mountains Fishtail 6993 m. Annapurna South 7219 , Dhaulagiri 8168 m. and many more .Climb down to the hotel and then after breakfast trek back to Tikhedhunga.
 
Days 4 : Trek back to Nayapul and then Drive back to Pokhara.
