Sherpa Village Tour

Sherpa Village

Sherpa Village Tour will be the wonderful village experience for any visitors, which also provide an opportunity to explore the Himalayan sceneries of Nepal. Sherpa Village tour starts in Jiri and ends with a flight back to Kathmandu from Phaplu. It is also possible to continue on from Phalpu and join the Everest trek at Ringmo, the village below the Traksindu La pass. The highlight of the trek is the stunning view from the top of pike, which includes Everest as well as a great number of lesser snow-capped peaks. To travel over Pike Danda, follow the Jiri to Lukla trek as far as the Likhu Khola, before Kenja. The route then climbs steeply through the villages of Goli Gompa and Ngaur before reaching the (4065 m ) summit of Pike. Descent to Phaplu is via the Sherpa village of Lodingma, home land of Sherpa Brothers Treks family. Due to the high altitude of Pike, trekkers must be particularly careful to watch for signs of AMS and be prepared to spend extra nights at Goli or Ngaur if necessary.

Itinerary in Detail

Day 01 Arrive at Kathmandu airport (1345meters). You will be met by our representative and transfer to hotel and a short brief about the trekking after refreshment.
Day 02 After breakfast, Kathmandu–Lukla-Phakdhing by flight.
Day 03 The day of Phakdhing - Namche Bazaar.
Day 04 Namche Bazzar sightseeing and rest.
Day 05 After breakfast trekking to Namche - Dole.
Day 06 Dole - Machharmo Hiking.
Day 07 Hike from Gokyo - Dragnag.
Day 08 Dragnag- Cho La - Dzonglha Hiking.
Day 09 Dzonglha – Lobuche Hiking.
Day 10 Hike from Lobuche – EBC- Ghorakshep.
Day 11 Gharak Shep– Kalaptthar (5550) Dingboche.
Day 12 Dingboche–Chhukung ri (5600m) -Dingboche.
Day 13 The day of Dingboche -Tengboche hiking.
Day 14 Back from Tengboche – Namche Bazar.
Day 15 Namche Bazar – Phakdhing - Lukla.
Day 16 Back from Lukla - Kathmandu.
